NEW DELHI: Uday Narain Choudhary of the Rashtriya Janata Dal has moved into a decisive lead with 10,111 votes, maintaining a 1,582-vote advantage over HAM(S) candidate Praphull Kumar Manjhi, who is trailing with 8,529 votes. Further behind, AIMIM’s Manoj Kumar Das stands at 3,410 votes, slipping out of competitive range as the gap widens sharply in this three-way contest.Candidates from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Indian National Congress (INC), and Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) (HAM(S)) are locked in a close fight for Bihar’s Sikandra (SC) Assembly seat as counting approaches.
