This year, the show takes a bold new turn with the theme Gharwalon ki Sarkaar, signalling a shift in power inside the house.

Earlier, in a statement, Salman had said, “I have been a part of Bigg Boss for very long now and as we all know, Bigg Boss reinvents the game every year aur iss baar, it is gharwalo ki sarkar. And when too many people start pulling the strings, it’s bound to get messy. That’s when the cracks show, and the house turns into a warzone. After all these years, I can honestly say I’m just as kicked as you are to see how it all plays out.”

Is baar contestants ko apne decisions lene ka poora haq diya gaya hai, par har decision ke saath ek consequence bhi aata hai. Main hamesha kehta hoon, tameez se khelo, par yeh log tameez chhod ke drama le aate hain (Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar means the power is in their hands, and when people get power, their true faces are revealed. Gaurav Khanna might be one of the contestants on the show. Rajiv Adatia, who participated with Gaurav Khanna in Celebrity MasterChef, wrote on X: “Wishing my dearest Gaurav all the very best for his Big Boss 19 journey! The house is a crazy one! But will give you memories to last a life time!! Come back with the trophy!! Love you brother ( and do some cooking in the house also!)”

In an interview with HT, Rishi Negi, COO of Endemol Shine and Banijay Asia said, “The role of the audience stays the same, that is, they will decide who will stay and who will go. The housemates are not going to vote each other out. The voting and final power will remain with the audience. We are digital-first this time, so we are building a lot of interactivity for the audience in the show. They will also participate and have a say in the show. So it’s going to be very interesting from that perspective.”

Arjun Bijlani’s videos sparked speculations whether he will enter Bigg Boss this season. He clarified the rumours, saying, “Every word I said in the last video I meant it . Salman Khan will also announce which of the two – Mridul Tiwari and Shehbaz Badesha – will enter the house. The two are the finalists of Fans Ka Faisla, with fans voting for them over the last few days.

WWE legend The Undertaker and former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson have reportedly been approached to make wild card appearances in Bigg Boss 19.
