NEW DELHI: Actor-politician and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam chief Vijay claimed that the DMK has underground dealings with the BJP, suggesting that voting for the DMK is effectively voting for the BJP. TVK leader Vijay conducted a campaign in Namakkal on Saturday, where thousands of supporters had gathered since the morning. Even five individuals fainted in the crowd because of the intense heat. They received first aid and were transported to the hospital by ambulance.In his speech lasting almost 10 minutes, Vijay alleged that DMK looted TN and his party will face them in the 2026 Assembly elections. Addressing the rally, Vijay announced that stringent measures will be implemented against individuals involved in kidney theft once the TVK government is established. He also said that the brutality of usury has driven people into such dire circumstances. Kidney theft has been perpetrated against impoverished power loom workers. This heinous act occurred in a hospital owned by a DMK MLA.
