The Bads of Bollywood release: A clip from the show shows a stern-looking cop, frustrated by the drug abuse situation in the industry. Fans were quick to note that it could be a dig at Sameer Wankhede. Wankhede is former zonal director of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), who arrested Aryan Khan over suspicion of drugs abuse and possession.

Aryan Khan’s debut series The Bads of Bollywood is out now on Netflix.

The show features cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Badshah, Karan Johar, and many others. The first cameos are by Karan Johar and Ranveer Singh, who fake-fight about who made whose careers.

Kajol took to social media to share a bunch of pictures from the premiere last night.

Raghav Juyal, who stars in the series alongside Lakshya, shared his experience from the recent trailer launch and explained why he was on the phone while touching Shah Rukh Khan’s feet on stage. It turns out Aryan Khan was involved!

He recalled, laughing, “Sir, actually, I was told that I had to do that on stage. But I tried to make it look natural. I was told to ignore Sir a bit, and it was Aryan who told me to do that.”

Sharing his admiration for SRK, the actor added, “But I always have a great experience with him. For years, he’s been a huge inspiration to me, as an actor, an artist, and as a human being, too. If you can dream, those dreams do get achieved.”

Actor Anya Singh, who plays Sanya, the manager to superstar Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya) in the series, spoke about her experience working with the team.

Actor Bobby Deol, who is set to play the role of superstar Ajay Talwar in Aryan Khan’s debut series Ba***ds of Bollywood, reminisced about how witnessing the young director’s journey reminded him of his own early days in the industry.

Speaking about the trailer launch event for the show that took place last month, Bobby shared how witnessing Shah Rukh Khan introduce Aryan’s show to the world made him feel as though Aryan was his “own son.” He also mentioned that seeing both Shah Rukh and Aryan together reminded him of his younger days when his father Dharmendra and brother Sunny Deol left no “stone unturned” in helping him make his first film.

“Mujhe toh laga mera khud ka beta hai. Us din, 20th August ko, jis tarah se pure cast ko showcase karwa raha tha, show ko Shah Rukh ne itne pyaar se introduce kiya. It was a very special moment, and I can truly understand that feeling because I understand that emotion. I have kids, and they also want to enter this industry. It was special, and yeah, it reminded me of my father and brother. They didn’t leave any stone unturned in making my first film. I think Shah Rukh is doing the same for Aryan. I think har baap apne bacche ke liye jaan bhi de sakta hai.”

Monika Shergill, Vice President – Content, Netflix India, describes this as the ‘dream month’ for the platform. “For me, the most exciting thing about this month is that we have two of the youngest breakout voices and talent, who are coming on the service in Aryan Khan and Ahaan Panday-Aneet Padda,” she says. Actor Lakshya, who is playing the lead role in the film, opened up about his experience of working with Aryan Khan in the movie.

‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ is a star-studded web series which stars Raghav Juyal, Sahher Bambba and Bobby Deol in prominent roles, along with Lakshya in the lead role.

Lakshya, who broke out to fame with his debut film ‘Kill’, is set to play the role of ambitious outsider ‘Aasmaan Singh’ who aims to achieve success in the Hindi film industry in the series.

While talking about the series offer, Lakshya revealed that he first received the request for an audition from the makers when he was working for ‘Kill.’

While speaking to ANI, Lakshya said, “When we were shooting Kilki during that time, Raghav and I got the audition. When I read the scene, which you saw in the trailer, ‘Taare to bhut hah, par Aasamaan ek hai (There are a lot of stars but sky is only one)’. I got that scene for the audition. And when I read that scene, I felt a connection. I felt that this was me. It was like I was talking to myself. When I came to Mumbai, I had the same passion. I had the same fire.”
