India on Sunday maintained their 100 per cent record at the Women’s World Cup with a comfortable 88-run win over rivals Pakistan in Colombo. The victory extended India’s dominance to 12-0 against Pakistan in women’s ODIs.Amid strained political ties between the two nations, it was no surprise that captains Sana and Harmanpreet Kaur skipped the post-match handshake, echoing the precedent set in recent men’s encounters in the Asia Cup, where India triumphed in all three matches.Tempers flared on the field too, with India captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Pakistan spinner Nashra Sandhu exchanging death stares. The most talked-about moment came early in Pakistan’s innings, when opener Muneeba Ali was controversially run out. However, another heated incident slipped under the radar—a clash between Deepti Sharma and Pakistan’s top-scorer Sidra Amin.Click here to watch the altercation between Deepti Sharma and Sidra AminThe incident occurred in the 34th over of the chase.
