Team India batter Smriti Mandhana has regained the number one position in the ICC ODI rankings for women batters, as announced on Tuesday, after scoring a half-century against Australia.In Mullanpur, Mandhana scored 58 runs off 63 balls in the first match of the three-game series. Teammates Annabel Sutherland and Phoebe Litchfield both share 25th position, rising four and thirteen places respectively, after their half-centuries contributed to their team’s eight-wicket victory.Australian players Kim Garth and Alana King have reached their career-best ODI bowling rankings at fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Indian spinner Sneh Rana has moved up five positions to 13th after taking a wicket in the first ODI, while England’s Sophie Ecclestone maintains her position as the top-ranked bowler.
