Duleep Trophy 2025 Live Score: Jammu and Kashmir pacer Auqib Nabi announced himself in sensational fashion on his Duleep Trophy debut, taking four wickets in four balls and completing a stunning five-for to put North Zone firmly in command against East Zone on Friday.

North Zone, who had earlier posted 405 thanks to Kanhaiya Wadhawan’s 76 and Nabi’s brisk 44, saw East Zone reply with 230 in 56.1 overs, collapsing under Nabi’s late burst. Left-arm spinner Manishi was East Zone’s star with the ball, returning 6-111, while Suraj Jaiswal and Mohammed Shami tested North’s batting.

East Zone’s innings began poorly, with Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana striking early. Riyan Parag added a quick 39 before falling to Mayank Dagar. A 74-run stand between Virat Singh and Kumar Kushagra threatened to steady the innings, but Nabi scripted history in the 53rd over. He removed Virat, Manishi and Mukhtar Hussain in successive balls to complete a hat-trick, followed by Suraj Jaiswal’s dismissal on the very next delivery for a rare four-in-four in first-class cricket. He then trapped Shami lbw to wrap up a dream spell of 5-36. East Zone’s collapse from 200/4 to 230 all out gave North Zone a decisive 175-run advantage.
